Product FAQs

Parchment paper is a high-density, natural paper with a non-stick coating. Reynolds Kitchens® Parchment Paper with SmartGrid® takes your baking to the next level with easy to use grid guidelines for accurate cutting, measuring or spacing. You can use parchment paper for cookies or even create packets for steaming meat and veggies. Best of all, clean up is simple - transfer your items to a cooling rack and just slide the paper off of your baking sheet. No scrubbing or scraping needed!

Yes. The special “parchmentizing process” means that Reynolds Kitchens® Parchment Paper is oven safe up to 425°F. We recommend that you preheat the oven first. Never touch the parchment paper to an open flame or to the sides of the oven, and do not use with a broiling unit or toaster oven.

Both are Reynolds Kitchens® Parchment Paper. Reynolds Kitchens® Cookie Baking Sheets are pre-cut, and sized perfectly for a standard baking sheet.

Yes. To reheat foods in the microwave, place a small sheet of Reynolds Kitchens® Parchment Paper underneath foods in order to eliminate splatters and avoid messy cleanup. To reheat foods such as vegetables or casserole leftovers, place at least ½ cup of food in a microwave-safe dish and cover with a sheet of parchment paper.

Both Wax paper and Parchment paper provide a non-stick surface to help lift food from the surface of a pan without sticking. Wax paper is made by applying a coating of wax to a thin paper sheet. Parchment paper has a natural non-stick coating produced through a special “parchmentizing” process. Both are microwave safe, but only parchment paper is oven safe (up to 425F).

Both wax paper and parchment paper can be used for lining cake pans for baking cakes. This is because the cake batter completely covers the wax paper.

Reynolds Kitchens® Parchment paper can be used in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. Always preheat the oven first. For safety, never touch the parchment paper to open flame or use with broiling unit or toaster oven.

Pull out parchment paper to desired length. Close lid, inserting flap behind parchment paper. Hold carton and tear downward across cutting edge. If you prefer to use scissors, simply follow the grid marks to cut the right sized sheet for your pan.

Reynolds Kitchens® Parchment Paper with SmartGrid® makes cutting easy to get the perfect-sized sheet. One and two-inch grid marks make measuring and spacing simple.
