How to Color Empanadas
Divide 1 cup of heavy cream in as many bowls as you would like colors.
Add food coloring to each bowl and mix until desired color is achieved.
Using a small paintbrush, paint the colored cream wash onto each Empanada or pie crust on a parchment-lined pan. Apply a second coat if necessary for desired color.
Freeze for 15 minutes and bake according to directions.
