- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3 pounds medium sweet potatoes, peeled, sliced
- 1/4-inch thick
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Shake flour in Reynolds® Oven Bag, Large Size; place in 13x9x2-inch baking pan; set aside.
ADD brown sugar, orange juice, orange peel and nutmeg to oven bag. Squeeze bag to blend ingredients. Add sweet potato slices to bag. Turn bag to coat potatoes with mixture. Arrange potatoes in an even layer in bag; top with butter.
CLOSE oven bag with nylon tie; cut six 1/2-inch slits in top. Tuck ends of bag in pan.
BAKE to minutes or until potatoes are tender. Stir before serving.
