Leg of Lamb Recipe

Change up your holiday meal with a delicious leg of lamb recipe. Learn how to make a mediterranean spice rubbed and roasted leg of lamb.
- 6 pound bone in leg of lamb
- 2 tablespoons of Kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon of crushed coriander seeds
- 2 teaspoons of cumin
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- black pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 450°.
In a large bowl rub down the lamb with olive oil, salt, coriander cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and pepper until all sides of the leg of lamb are covered.
Next, place the leg of lamb in a Reynolds® Bakeware roasting pan, place it on a sheet pan, and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes of cooking on 450° turn down the heat to 350° and finish cooking the lamb for 30 minutes or until it has an internal temperature of 145°. Remove the lamb from the oven and let the meat rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
Slice the leg of lamb before serving.
