Combine the ingredients in Oven Bags, to simplify prep and eliminate any extra dishes.

Ingredients
- 3 tart apples, cored and sliced into 1/2" slices (do not peel)
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- Zest of 1 whole lemon
- 1 pint ice cream, flavor of your choice
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions
Step 1
PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees. Line a square baking pan with a Reynolds® Large Oven Bag.
Step 2
PLACE apples, cinnamon, butter, sugar, and lemon zest in the oven bag. CLOSE bag and use hands to massage apples until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Step 3
SEAL bag with enclosed tie, place back in baking dish, and use scissors to cut 5 small slits around the bag.
Step 4
BAKE 25 minutes, or until apples are tender.
Step 5
REMOVE from oven and let rest 5 minutes, before opening bag and pouring into serving dish.
Step 6
To assemble sundaes: SCOOP about 1/2 of ice cream into each serving bowl, and top with a few spoonfuls of the baked apples. Garnish with a generous sprinkle of chopped pecans and eat immediately.
