Springtime brings a plethora of fresh fruit, but sometimes it’s hard to eat it all before it spoils. Instead, try freezing your fruit to use later in smoothies or drinks.

Place blueberries in a single layer on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Place in the freezer. Once frozen, pour blueberries into a slider bag or Tupperware.

Bananas

Peel bananas and place in aluminum foil. Then keep in freezer until ready to use.

Citrus Fruit

Thinly slice and place in an ice cube tray. Top with water or juice and freeze. Use in beverages for a fresh twist.
