5 in 1 Holiday Cookie Dough

You’ll continue to amaze your friends and family with a beautiful and delicious cookie platter, but not spend all day in the kitchen.

Materials

To begin….

  1. Reynolds® Parchment Paper
  2. Your favorite sugar cookie recipe. Try our favorite sugar cookie recipe here

Instructions

  1. Triple or quadruple your favorite sugar cookie dough
  2. Portion out dough into 4 or 5 sections, wrap in parchment paper and freeze for future use. This will save time for weeks to come!
  3. When ready to bake cookies, take out a single portion and allow cookie dough to fully thaw in fridge. Then try one of the below recipes to customize your cookies.

Cocoa Cookies

Additional Materials:

  • Cocoa powder

Instructions:

  1. Roll sugar cookie dough into balls about the size of a quarter
  2. Roll in cocoa power
  3. Bake according to original sugar cookie dough recipe directions

Fruit & Nut Cookies

Additional Materials:

  • Dried fruit of choice
  • Nut of choice, chopped or sliced

Instructions:

  1. Press preferred mix-ins in raw dough
  2. Portion out onto baking sheet, and add more fruit and nuts to top of cookies if desired
  3. Bake according to original sugar cookie dough recipe directions
  4. Enjoy!

Thumbprint Cookies

Additional Materials:

  • Favorite preservative or jam

Instructions:

  1. Roll sugar cookie dough into quarter-sized balls
  2. Place dough ball on parchment-lined cookie sheet and press thumb into center of dough ball to create a small pocket in each cookie
  3. Bake according to original cookie dough recipe directions
  4. Allow cookies to cool, and then fill each cookie with your favorite preservative!

Sprinkle Delight Cookies

Additional Materials:

  • Colored sugar
  • Festive sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. Roll sugar cookie dough into quarter-sized balls
  2. Roll out each cookie in preferred sprinkle or sugar
  3. Bake according to original cookie dough recipe guidelines and enjoy!

  • Cookie cutters
  • Decorative icing
  • Sprinkles
  • Reynolds® Parchment Paper

Instructions:

  1. Roll out dough on parchment paper and cut out shapes using favorite cookie cutters
  2. Bake according to original cookie dough recipe directions, and allow to cool
  3. Decorate cookies on parchment paper for easy clean-up with fun icing colors and sprinkles of choice
  4. Enjoy!
