Cupcake Baking Tips
Making Cupcakes
For best results, fill your baking cups about 3/4 full to get the amount you need for rounded tops. Use Reynolds® Cut-Rite® Wax Paper as a spoon rest to save on cleanup.
Fill Cups the Easy Way
Take the guesswork out of filling muffin cups by using a spring-handled ice-cream scoop! Scoops marked with a No. 20 or 24 get most muffin cups about 3/4 full.
Don’t Have a Pan?
When you use Reynolds Foil Baking Cups, no muffin pan is needed. That’s because Reynolds Foil Baking Cups are freestanding and won’t collapse even when batter is added. Simply place the Foil Baking Cups on a cookie sheet with sides, fill the cups 2/3 full with batter and then bake as directed.
Handling Empty Cups
End up with empty cups in your pan? If you've greased them, fill the empty ones half full with water. It keeps the grease from burning and all the cups will bake more evenly.
No Greasing Pans
Forget greasing, spraying or flouring your muffin pan when it comes to baking your family’s favorite sweet treats. Just line your pan with Reynolds Baking Cups and no greasing is needed. Plus, you don't have to worry about washing your pan between batches.
