Slow Cooker Ribs Recipe

You don’t need a grill to serve up some tender, deliciously seasoned ribs - all you need is a slow cooker! With this easy-to-follow recipe for slow-cooked ribs, you can easily bring barbecue-style flavor to the dinner table without ever having to step outside. OPEN Reynolds Kitchens® Slow Cooker Liner and place it inside a 5- to 6 1/2-quart slow cooker bowl. Fit liner snugly against the bottom and sides of bowl pull top of liner over rim of bowl.

MIX brown sugar, paprika, seasoned salt, pepper and onion powder rub mixture into ribs. Cut ribs into 4-rib sections. Place ribs in slow cooker liner. Pour 1/2 cup barbecue sauce over ribs. Place lid on slow cooker.

COOK on LOW for 5 to 6 hours OR on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours. Remove ribs using tongs or large spatula. Using ladle or large plastic spoon, remove and discard juices. Place ribs back into slow cooker liner pour remaining barbecue sauce over ribs. Cook additional hour or until sauce is heated.

CAREFULLY remove lid to allow steam to escape. Serve ribs directly from slow cooker liner. Do not lift or transport liner with food inside. Cool slow cooker completely remove liner and toss.

Cooking Tip
Add 8 oz. can crushed pineapple or pineapple tidbits, undrained, to the last addition of barbecue sauce before pouring over ribs.
