Fresh Berries Cobbler

Try this delicious Fresh Berries Cobbler recipe for your next dessert. It makes a perfect summertime treat served hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- 2 1/2 cups of fresh blackberries
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 2 cups of all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 1/2 sticks of chilled butter cut into chunks
- 1 1/2 cups of whole milk
PREHEAT oven to 350°.
MIX the blackberries in a large bowl along with the lemon juice and ½ cup of sugar until combined and pour it into a Reynolds® Bakeware 8x8 pan.
WHISK the flour, oats, baking powder, and brown sugar in a large bowl and cut in the butter using a pastry knife. (Alternate: place the flour, oats, baking powder, brown sugar, and butter into a food processer and pulse until the butter is the size of rice.)
MIX in the milk until just combined.
POUR the batter on top of the blackberries and bake in the oven for 35 minutes.
SERVE the cobbler hot.
