  • 1 package (18.25 ounces) yellow cake mix
  • 1 container (16 ounces) chocolate frosting
  • 1 cup vanilla frosting
  • Red and green food coloring
  • 1/2 cup each red and green candy-coated chocolate candies


Step 1

PREHEAT oven to 350°F.

Step 2

PLACE Reynolds® StayBrite® Baking Cups (Dots) in muffin pans; set aside.

Step 3

PREPARE cake mix following package directions for 24 cupcakes. Spoon batter into baking cups.

Step 4

BAKE following package directions (17 to 23 minutes). Cool.

Step 5

SPREAD the top of each cupcake with chocolate frosting.

Step 6

TINT 1/2 cup of the vanilla frosting pink with the red food coloring and the other 1/2 cup of the vanilla frosting green.

Step 7

SPOON each color into a separate zipper bags.

Step 8

SNIP a very small corner, (1/16 inch) from the bag.

Step 9

PIPE random dots of frosting on top of each cupcake.

Step 10

PLACE a red or green candy on top of each of the dots of frosting.
