Baked Apple Crisp

This classic dessert is a family favorite. Make it even more delcious by serving warm with a scoop of ice cream.
- 4 peeled, cored and small diced Granny Smith apples
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1 cup of oats
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 4 ounces of unsalted butter
- Vanilla ice cream
PREHEAT the oven to 350°.
MIX together the apples, lemon juice, sugar and nutmeg in a bowl until combined.
POUR the apple mixture into a Reynolds® Bakeware 8x8 Pan.
ADD the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and unsalted butter to a food processor and pulse until the butter is the size of rice.
SPREAD the oats and butter mixture all over the apples and make sure the apples are completely covered.
BAKE in the oven for 35 minutes on 350° or until the oatmeal topping is slightly brown.
SERVE hot with vanilla ice cream
