Product Faqs

Q

What are Reynolds™ Heat & Eat disposable containers made out of?

A

The container is made out of a mixture of natural bagasse and bamboo fibers using a process similar to that used in making paper. Bagasse is a byproduct of sugarcane production. Both are fibrous, renewable materials.

Q

Why is my container soft after storage and reheating?

A

The container material can absorb small amounts of moisture during storage and/or reheating. They have been designed to hold foods safely even when soft. The lid can be placed underneath the container and used as carrier after re-heating your food.

Q

Can the containers and lids be recycled?

A

Containers can be recycled if clean and dry. Lids can be recycled. Shrink Wrap (clear wrapping around containers) can be recycled at retail store drop-offs for plastic bag recycling.

Q

Are the lids microwaveable?

A

The lids are not microwaveable. Reynolds™ Disposable Heat & Eat containers were made so that plastic does not have to be placed in the microwave in order to enjoy your food.
