Do you have 30 minutes or less to cook dinner? For many immediately after the bell rings at work, it is time to go home to job number 2! I know many of you can relate, as a matter of fact you are probably shaking your head thinking “I know that’s right girlfriend”! Whether it’s football practice, dance rehearsal, piano lessons, t-ball, lacrosse or tutoring sessions, many of us are constantly on the run. But we have to eat right? We have to feed our family right? Well I’ve got a super flavorful but simple and quick Honey Salmon recipe that will knock your child’s football cleats off! Talk about juicy salmon broiled to simple perfection – BAM! OK, so now that you have spent about 30 minutes cooking – you turn to the kitchen and think “OMG who is going to cleanup?” NO WORRIES, this recipe calls for Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil! YEAH BABY!! I love this stuff, and you can learn more at ReynoldsKitchens.com. I just line my cooking sheet with the Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil, then all I have to do is serve my delicious Honey Salmon, ball up the Reynolds® Wrap Heavy Duty Foil and toss that baby right in the trash! Slam Dunk! My cleanup is virtually eliminated – BAM POW KABOOM! This is my kinda day all week long!

Honey Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1-2 Salmon Filet(s) (NOT salmon steaks)
  • 4-6 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 4-6 tsp. Seafood Seasoning
  • 4-6 tsp. Granulated Garlic
  • 2-4 tsp. Sea salt
  • 2-4 tsp. Ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp. Unsalted Butter cut into thin slithers
  • 2-4 tbsp. Honey

Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil Cookie Sheet

Ready, Set, Go

  1. Turn Broiler on to HIGH
  2. Line baking dish with two sheets of Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil (cover entire cookie sheet so clean up is easy)
  3. Rinse salmon filet(s)
  4. Pat salmon filet(s) dry with paper towel
  5. Rub salmon on both sides with extra virgin olive oil
  6. Season salmon on both sides with seafood seasoning, granulated garlic, sea salt and ground black pepper
  7. Add extra virgin olive oil to lined baking dish and spread so it covers the entire baking dish
  8. Place salmon filets on the baking dish and place under broiler
  9. Allow salmon to broil for 10 minutes (until done – do not overcook)
  10. Once salmon is done, remove from broiler (but do NOT turn the broiler off)
  11. Cut slithers of butter and place all over the salmon slab(s)
  12. Drizzle honey all over the salmon filets
  13. Place the salmon back under the broiler for 5 minutes (do not allow to burn, you only need the butter to melt and the honey to caramelize)
  14. Once the butter is melted and the honey is caramelized, take out of the oven and allow to rest for at least 5 minutes
  15. SERVE with Broccoli & Corn for the perfect quick turn-around delicious dinner - AND GET TO PRACTICE ON TIME!!!
